About Us

Courage Co. Design is a diversely skilled illustration and design studio based in Santa Rosa, California. We specialize in packaging, illustration, and branding for companies small and large, along with the individual specialties our designers bring:

Michael Houghton’s design career began with illustrated posters and flyers for local punk rock bands and shows. His multidisciplinary studies span from sculpture and printmaking to architectural drafting. As the owner and creative director of Section M magazine he was instrumental in the North Bay music scene and founded Nostalgia Fest at the Phoenix Theatre. This led to creating branding, illustrations, and packaging for the distinguished list of clients you see at right.

We also employ a network of creative monkeys with more expertise from watercolor to film and web development.
